Skye Soldiers was formed by a disabled U.S. Army war veteran and paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. Skye Soldiers mission is to alleviate distress, hardship and suffering by providing search and rescue operations and disaster relief assistance to communities in need.
Many times, government agencies simply cannot respond to distress calls due to lack of funding, equipment, resources, policy, or personnel. Our goal is to bridge that gap and save as many lives as possible. When Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, the Cajun Navy was formed on a whim due to lack of government resources and personnel, providing much needed help to individuals and communities. It has been my goal to create a similar organization, yet be fully prepared to handle such emergencies before they happen; allowing us to respond quickly, efficiently and most importantly save lives.
Skye Soldiers has officially been incorporated as a Chapter 82 non-profit and awarded 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity status by the IRS. Donors may deduct contributions they make to Skye Soldiers under IRC Section 170.We are currently seeking both material and financial donations to help grow and sustain operations for those in need. We are also seeking volunteers to help our operation in the desire to alleviate distress and hardship. Contributions provide us the fuel to aid those in distress. Please let us know if you would like to be a part in helping save lives. Any support you provide will be greatly appreciated.
Our nonprofit organization is committed to improving the lives of those in need. Discover how you can get involved and make a positive impact today.
